Fall of an Empire

The empire is dying. Survival is victory. Seize control of an ailing empire, clinging to echoes of its former glory. Unlike traditional grand strategy games of expansion and conquest, Fall of an Empire challenges you to try to survive in an empire on the brink of collapse. Face invading barbarian hordes, manage internal revolts, and engage in relentless political intrigue.

Your rule will not last forever. How long can you defy history and halt its decline?

Command an Empire in Decline

Play as one of many characters in an empire in decline.

Perhaps you have seized power in a violent coup, crowning yourself Emperor of a crumbling realm.

Perhaps you rule a province and you will make your way to the top as the world collapses around you.

Millions await your orders, but your legions are stretched thin, your coffers are empty, and your provinces are rife with unrest.

It is up to you to defy history and survive through iron will and brilliant strategy.

Master Treacherous Politics & Intrigue

Manage a living world filled with unique, simulated characters - senators, generals, governors, and spies. Each character has their own evolving traits, personal ambitions, and loyalties.

Exploit rivalries, uncover conspiracies, and forge fragile alliances to keep your throne. Reward your loyalists with power or eliminate threats in cold blood.

Rule a Massive, Living World

Exercise dominion over hundreds of settlements and millions of subjects across a sprawling, dynamic map. Build fortifications, manage resources and oversee simulated convoy supply lines on the map itself, allowing you to orchestrate raids and bolster your coffers. Watch cities visibly grow… or burn.

Navigate changing seasons that test your logistics, from famine-inducing winters to bountiful harvests in the springs.

Experience Truly Immersive Stories

Dynamic storylines take the whole world into account. When your capital burns, your court knows. When your loyal general grows old and bitter, his betrayal will make sense. No two playthroughs tell the same story.

Fight on Every Front

Engage in a unique hybrid battle system combining real-time strategy with timed turn-based decision-making.

Direct your armies across multiple fronts simultaneously, then zoom into key battles to make the tactical calls that turn the tide.

Survive at Any Cost

The empire is destined to fall, but your legacy is measured by how long your lineage can last.

Allocate dwindling resources, maintain fragile order, and respond to ever-shifting threats in a brutal test of strategic endurance.
